Placing an order is simple:
Painting the engraving is optional on
glass and crystal. The natural engraved look is very nice and many
prefer to leave it that way. However, an alternative is to paint fill
the engraving. This option adds the ability to match colors of a
wedding or organization. There is an additional charge for adding
paint fill and the extra paint charge has not been included in the price
since it is optional.
Painting the engraving is optional on marble and stone but is recommended because the natural color of the piece goes all the way through the piece. The natural engraved look would not be able to be seen as well. However, by paint filling the engraving, we not only add a look of beauty and distinction but we also add the ability to match colors of a wedding or organization. Our prices generally include all design, layout and engraving charges. Normally, there are no setup charges, charges per letter or for additional text or any minimum order requirements. If you want an image included in the design, there is no charge for one in our library, however, there may be an art conversion charge for any images furnished to us that are not in the format that we use.
For art specs, we require a black and white, vector line art image file (EPS) for use with Adobe Illustrator on a PC. If you can provide the art in this format, there is no art set up charge. If you can't provide the art in this format, there is a $40 art set up charge to convert your art into the needed format. Please email your art for evaluation.
Orders typically leave our studio within 2-3 weeks of receiving your approval of the artwork and deposit. Orders required sooner are possible but may be subject to rush order charges. Any rush order charges or extended delivery times will be clearly discussed at the time of your order.
